Bac Loong Gar is the mixed martial art style of kung fu and consists of Lau Gar, Wing Chun, San Shou Chinese Kickboxing, Tai Chi (Chen, Sun and Yang) and Chi Kung. Yoga is also practised prior to Chi Kung exercises.
The separate disciplines are traditional chinese and from authentic lineage and combine to form effective self defence techniques and improve general health and fitness. Bac Loong Gar was developed by Master Bob Denny 7th degree and the syllabus accepted and copyrighted by Grandmaster Mike Symonds of the British Association for Chinese Arts in 2001. San Shou Chinese Kickboxing was added more recently and was approved by the BNMAA.
Bac Loong Gar is taught as a whole system or as separate styles dependent on the requirements of the individual student, however students who embrace the whole system reap greater benefits.

Bob Denny is believed to be the only instructor in Cornwall who has been graded to black in Lau Gar by Master Jeremy Yau and can provide evidence from the British Kung Fu Association. Bob advises any student to check with their instructor's society or association that their instructor is properly registered, fully qualified as claimed, and is up to date with the legal training requirements now in force. Any legitimate instructor will welcome this check which can now be requested by anyone, and at the White Dragon School we positively encourage it .
